Starting odo 7810
We get up fairly early and go across the road to the private
campground where there is a little restaurant and we have breakfast
and try to update blogs.
Leaving, we are again riding with the aids riders, but they turn off
after about 7 miles. Then there is a bikepath through UCSB, and for
many miles behind surburban houses. An interesting element to these
bike paths is that they have solar powered lights all along them!
We finally get to Carpinteria and Shyam decides to camp there, and I
elect to ride further, stopping in a Ventura motel 6.
